Bella Poarch's birth Filipino parents had her in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997. Her grandmother was a resident of the slums in Manila up to the time she reached three. The parents she adopted are American white man with a military background and her mother is Filipino. She claims that she and her adopted brother were subjected to abuse since they were children until she enlisted. After a brief stay in San Francisco, her family moved to Texas in order to assist her father undergo a bypass operation. Her mother claims that the physical attack was less severe, however she still dealt with her father's psychological abuse in the home. Poarch joined the United States Navy when she reached the age of 18. Poarch started the TikTok account on April of 2020 and quickly became a household name and amassing over 40 million users in less than eight months. Poarch uploaded a variety of videos and the one that became her most popular was her rendition of Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. The zoomed-in video of her rhythmically jumping and lip-syncing to the song was a huge hit and became one of the top TikTok video clips of all time. In order to capitalize on the popularity she gained after becoming a member of TikTok in December of 2016, Poarch created YouTube as well as Twitter profiles. Her fame grew exponentially in December 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two major professional Esports teams. FaZe Clan (100 Thieves) and 100 Thieves are interested in hiring her to create videos for their respective brands.
