Robyn Rihanna is also referred to as Rihanna - is an Barbadian pop songwriter and singer. She's had hit songs like Pon de Replay, SOS umbrella, Take a Bow. Being a young and popular singer-songwriter, she's one of the most successful selling artists. She was born in Barbados and was raised in the reggae scene. When she began to sing, she became professional. Disturbed by their chaotic home life as well as the constant arguments between her parents, she absorbed herself in music and soon realized she wanted to become an accomplished singer. In high school, she started a group of musicians and was able to meet music producer Evan Rodgers. He was stunned by her talent. The girl moved from the city of her birth to New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna released her debut album and became an overnight sensation. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. This led to Rihanna taking up directing. Talented and young, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenager-idol, and fashion icon. Rihanna is also putting her fame to good use and is active in a variety of charities.
